Membership: FAQ

How Can You Get Involved?

NCNW Sisters are all around campus! However, campus is huge. During the first month of each semester, City College section participates in plenty of tabling events to introduce ourselves to incoming and returning students. The Office of Student Life hosts a Club Fair once a semester to allow students to meet over 150 clubs on campus; look out for our table!

Where Are Events?

We are always having events! We also collaborate heavily with other organizations on campus to bring a variety of programs to our community. Most events will be posted on the Events page on our site, Facebook page or Instagram account. However, we communicate with members and interested members through email. If you want to be kept up to date with what NCNW CCNY is up to, please fill out the interest form below.

Who Can Become a Member?

Anyone can become a part of NCNW CCNY. We do not restrict any potential members based on gender identity, religion or sexual orientation. The National Council of Negro Women is an organization aimed to bettering the lives of African Americans, if you stand by the mission statement, we are glad to have you in our section. Come as you are.
