81 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
Founded in 1935 by Mary McLeod Bethune, the National Council of Negro Women Incorporated was created to uplift, motivate, encourage and educate the lives of all African-American women. Aimed to be "an organization of organizations," NCNW's mission is to advance and improve the quality of life for African Americans through research, advocacy, national and community based programs throughout the country.
Currently there are more than 30 affiliated organizations and more than 200 chapters/sections that connects more than 4 million women worldwide.
